#5- One of Us Is Dead

This stylish thriller takes readers into an exclusive neighborhood where appearances are everything-and secrets are deadly.

What I enjoyed most was the atmosphere. Wealth, gossip, betrayal, and revenge collide in a story filled with complicated friendships and hidden motives. Every character has something to hide, making it difficult to know who deserves your trust.

While it isn't my favorite Jeneva Rose novel, it is still an entertaining thriller that delivers plenty of suspense and drama.

Why I Loved It:

-multiple suspicious characters

-twisty neighborhood drama

-strong female characters

-plenty of unexpected reveals

My Rating: 4.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Following the success of The Perfect Marriage was never going to be easy, but The Perfect Divorce does n excellent job of bringing readers back into this dangerous world.

I loved revisiting familiar characters while discovering that the past is never truly buried. Just when you think everything has finally settled, Jeneva Rose proves there are still secrets waiting to explode.

The courtroom drama, manipulation, and constant uncertainty kept me turning pages late into the night.

#3-The Perfect Marriage

This is the novel that introduced many readers to Jeneva Rose.

The premise immediately hooked me: a successful defense attorney must represent her own husband after he is accused of murdering his mistress.

From there, the story becomes a masterclass in psychological suspense. Every chapter made me question who was telling the truth, and the ending completely changed how I viewed everything that came before it.

It's easy to understand why this became one of Jeneva Rose's breakout novels.

Why I Loved It:

-Brilliant premise

-Constant suspense

-Unreliable characters

-One unforgettable ending

My Rating: 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

#2-Home is Where the Bodies Are

This is the book that introduced me to Jeneva Rose and wow did it make an impression.

Family secrets are some of my favorite thriller tropes, and this novel delivers them perfectly.

Three siblings reunite after their mother's death and discover a mysterious VHS tape that changes everything they thought they knew about their family.

I loved how the story slowly peeled back layers of decades-old secrets while exploring complicated family relationships. The mystery unfolds at just the right pace, building suspense until the shocking conclusion.

This book reminded me why I love thrillers centered around dysfunctional families and buried truths.

Why I Loved It:

-Fantastic family mystery

-Emotional character dynamics

-Great pacing

-Excellent final reveal

My Rating: 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

#1-You Shouldn't Have Come Here

This is my favorite Jeneva Rose novel of all time.

From the very beginning, something feels...off. The isolated Wyoming setting creates an atmosphere of unease that never goes away, and every chapter increases the tension.

One of my favorite things about this novel is how often it made me change my theories. Every time I thought I had figured it out, Jeneva Rose completely flipped my expectations.

The ending is one of the biggest and shocking surprises I've read in a psychological thriller. It's clever, memorable, and exactly the kind of ending I hope for whenever I pick up a suspense novel. I'll just say this-if you love Dexter, you'll love this book.

If you've never read Jeneva Rose before, this is the book I recommend starting with.

Why I Loved It:

-Incredible atmosphere

-Constant tension

-Brilliant and I mean brilliant misdirection

-One of the best twist endings I've ever read (Ms. Rose is the queen of twists, as they say)

My Rating: One Million ⭐
